Quality and Safety

  • Safety in production:

    Only a fully automated production process can guarantee total quality. Over 45 high-precision checks are carried out on the whole production cycle.

    This production process is backed by 40 years of experience and a continuous investment in R+D.

 

  • Safety in materials:

    CLIPPER uses NYLON plastic. This material offers improved flexibility and better resistance to cracking, as well as the advantage of being self-extinguishing. The first two features mean that the material is more resistant to high pressure and strong impacts. The third features implies that, if the product comes into direct contact with fire, it can not burn by itself.

 

  • Safety in lighting:

    The CLIPPER valve guarantees a constant height flame throughout the lifespan of the product. Manual regulation is not necessary. Maximum flame height is 5cm, which is more than enough to light cigarettes, cigars or pipes. Adjustable height flame lighters can produce flames of up to 15 cm high which is both unnecessary and dangerous.

 

  • Compliance with international standards:

    CLIPPER lighters comply with safety standards and are certified by officially accredited laboratories.

 

  • Public liability insurance up to 60 million €:
    CLIPPER, due to its quality and safety committment, has a public liability insurance up to 60 million €.
